'The Flash' Season 2 Spoilers: A Possible Crossover With Super Girl? Kevin Smith To Direct An Upcoming Episode 10

As "The Flash" still takes its time with their mid-season break, a lot of information have been swirling around the internet mostly involving crossovers with other DC superheroes.

We have already seen a couple of Arrow and Flash episodes. But there is another possible crossover just lingering around the corner that fans will get totally excited about.

Just what are the chances that Super Girl could come into the mix? With everything that had happened in the past, Superman's cousin could actually team up with either Arrow or The Flash in the future. There might even be a possibility that the three would team up; making it a mini-justice league-like moment.

Executive producer Greg Berlanti told Entertainment Weekly that a Super Girl crossover may not be far from happening.

He said that "The Flash" series is blessed enough that it didn't need to find itself unlike "Arrow," while on the other hand, Super Girl had a learning curve on its effectiveness to the fans. In the future, the three superheroes could possibly have a couple of crossovers.

"I would love it, a lot of things would have to go right and people would have to say 'Yes,'" Berlanti said. "It would have to be figured out very soon. It would all have to be figured out in the next month or so. As it remains right now we've talked internally about how cool it would be, but we haven't had official conversations. [The CW chief Mark Pedowitz] is supportive," he added.

In other news, Kevin Smith would be directing an episode of "The Flash" season 2. He is an avid fan of comic books and had written a script for "Superman Lives" before he was edged out by Tim Burton according to Den of Geek.
