The speedster is set to reveal his plans to take down Zoom as he returns for the 18^th episode of "The Flash" season 2.

Titled "Versus Zoom," the episode will air on April 19 and will feature Barry 's coming face-to-face with Zoom. Photo stills for the upcoming episode also reveal that "Versus Zoom" will tackle the story of Hunter Zoloman, the villain's true identity.

Synopsis for episode 18 suggests that the speedster is planning on opening the breaches to defeat Zoom once and for all. It can be remembered that in the previous episode, Barry travelled back in time to meet Eobard/Wells, his old teacher, to ask for a speed boost.

Now that Barry has already secured the needed formula through the help of the tachyon device, he is confident enough that he can face and take down the traitor by himself.

It was previously revealed that Zoom and Jay Garrick were one and the same. Unable to believe that they had befriended a monster, Barry is now more than eager to make him pay the price.

Teaser for the episode also reveals that Wells will try to stop Barry from opening the breaches, but Barry will convince him to trust in his plan. Wells then reveals to Barry that the only way to do that is through the tech whiz Cisco.

Episode 18 will also delve into Zoom's painful past. In the clip, Caitlin and Wells are shown informing Barry of Zoom's true identity.
