Following King Shark's defeat, Barry is set to be joined by another speedster in "The Flash" season 2 episode 16.

Entitled "Trajectory," the teaser trailer "The Flash" season 2 episode 16 revealed that fans will be seeing a female speedster in Central City, according to Melty. As per the publication, the female speedster is similar to "Arrow's" Thea Queen; thus, Willa Holland is assumed to have an appearance in the upcoming episode.

Diggle and Lyla Michaels were seen in "The Flash" season 2 episode 15, entitled "King Shark," as per Spoilers Guide. In the episode, Wells, Barry, and Cisco opted not to discuss what took place on Earth-2 because they were afraid of the consequences. Then, King Shark, the humanoid shark monster that Wells stopped managed to escape A.R.G.U.S. and went to Central City to kill the titular speedster.

Diggle and Michaels warned Barry, which led the latter to look for the shark villain. Barry was joined by Diggle, Michaels, and the A.R.G.U.S. Team in tracking King Shark; however, the shark appeared at Barry's house, revealing that the villain was also looking for the speedster via the latter's electrical field.

A.R.G.U.S. Entered the scene and forced King Shark to surrender. They tried to catch the villain with a trap, but they failed. Barry went to the water, so King Shark followed him. With his speed, The Flash created an electrified underwater cyclone, which took down the shark. Meanwhile, Earth-2 revealed that Jay was behind Zoom's mask.
