'The Flash' Season 2 Episode 16 Spoilers: Barry Faces New Speedster; ‘Comic Book Men’s’ Kevin Smith Produces Episode 21
Barry is set to face a new speedster in "The Flash" season 2 episode 16 while "Dogma" and "Comic Book Men" producer Kevin Smith is set to produce episode 21.
Barry is set to deal with the new speedster in Central City in "The Flash" season 2 episode 16, entitled "Trajectory." According to Spoilers Guide, Barry and his friends opted to go out for a night on the town, allowing them to encounter another speedster who was going to create a mess at the city.
Previous reports that Barry and Cisco as set to have a conflict due to this new speedster, who is a female. Also, episode 16 will see Iris face a challenge from her new boss, but surprisingly, the tension between the two converts into flirtation.
In other news, Smith is on board to direct "The Flash" season 2 episode 21. On Mar. 14, the "Dogma" and "Comic Book Men" producer took to Instagram a photo taken in one of the sets of "The Flash," particularly Central City PD, a place that is common in "The Flash" season 1 and season 2. He also cited the resemblance of the Justice League and Arrow to the Greek gods and goddesses.
In caption, Smith wrote "Greetings from Central City PD and the set of @cwtheflash! The giant bas-relief wall was created by #TylerHarron and features familiar "gods" - like #Superman as Zeus (Jupiter), #Batman as Hades (Pluto), #Wonder Woman as Hera (Juno), the Flash as Hermes (Mercury), #GreenArrow as Apollo, #Aquaman as Poseidon (Neptune), and the #GreenLantern as Hephaestus (Vulcan)."
According to Movie News Guide, Smith also teased that Barry's father is set to return in "The Flash" season 2 episode 21. "One Live To Live" actor John Wesley Shipp, who sat far left beside Carlo Valdes' Cisco in his table read Instagram photo, is set to play Henry Allen.
"The Flash" season 2 episode 16, "Trajectory," is set to air on Mar. 22, while episode 21's air date is yet to be revealed .
