'The Flash' Season 1 Spoilers, News: Teaser Confirms Gorilla Grodd Appears in Upcoming Episode

It's been confirmed that the titular Gorilla Grodd villain will be making his full-fledged appearance in the first season of CW's 'The Flash'.

The villain has made short cameos at the end of a few episodes in the first season, but due to a new teaser dropped by the series, fans can expect to see the super-intelligent gorilla face off with the Scarlet Speedster.

"As comic book fans know, Grodd is a hyper-intelligent telepathic gorilla whose eventual appearance was teased back in the show's pilot, which included a shot of a his damaged and empty cage at S.T.A.R. Labs. Grodd, who was also revealed to be one of General Wiling's (Clancy Brown) former test subjects, recently took down two maintenance workers in a sewer that had scribblings of his own name all over the walls," writes EW.

It was believed that the network would hold off on the villain at first because of his less than practical depiction, but it seems that they found a way for it to work on the show.

In the comics he's one of the Flash's most interesting foes, as along with his overwhelming size and intellect, he also controls an army of gorillas and various animals.

In hasn't been confirmed what episode Grodd will appear in, but it will definitely be before the end of this season.
