'The Flash' News: Carlos Valdes Confirms 'Heartbreaking Scenes' in Final Episodes

With things finally heating up on CW's 'The Flash,' the series conclusion draws ever so closer, and according to co-star Carlos Valdes, the finale will certainly satisfy all our emotions.

In an recent interview with IGN, Valdes promises a really crazy ending, and hints at a very sad character loss.

"It's about to hit the fan. You know what I mean? Crazy things are about to happen," Valdes states. "Major revelations are going to happen. Unexpected partnerships. I was just talking about the last episode... I don't think there's a single weak link in that episode. There are some incredibly heartbreaking scenes."

He of course doesn't reveal the scene, but says it affected everyone when they all found out.

"We were doing table read and we were all crying. I never cry at that kind of stuff but we were weeping. There was this one scene I think fans are going to be really flabbergasted about."

Valdes' character Cisco went through a tough revelation upon figuring out his coveted mentor was their greatest villain.

"I think it's always really refreshing to be able to play different dimensions of a character. Not only does the viewer get to know that character but you also get to know that character as the actor. So that's very exciting."

The big plot twist toward the end has been teased by a lot of the actors and producers involved.

'The Flash' has two more episodes in its first season, and has already been picked up for a second, which is expected to arrive in the fall.
