"The Fate of the Furious" trailer was just released and fans just got upset by one major spoilers: Dominic Toretto might be turning his back on the family.

According to Polygon, this is one issue that just couldn't be swept under the rug considering that the whole franchise revolves around the theme of "family first before everything else."

In the latest "The Fate of the Furious" trailer, however, Dominic can be seen joining forces with Cipher, played by Charlize Theron, who is the touted to be the villain in the film. The article also noted the featurette that was earlier released to promote the movie where the cast again harped about the importance of family.

In fact, a sub-Reddit was created specifically for fans to air out their frustrations from the latest "The Fate of the Furious" trailer; that's aside from mocking the franchise for breaking all the laws of physics and all the shenanigans that Dom and his crew, which stretches credulity.

"But it's about family Dom!! What about family?!?" one user wrote. "Han didn't die for you to pull this shit!"

As a way of explaining why Dom might be betraying the family in "The Fate of the Furious" trailer. One Reddit user wrote, "Dom is probably being blackmailed into doing what he is doing. If he doesn't do what she says / help her do whatever she's doing she will probably do something crazy. She's obviously holding something over his head. It probably has to do with family."
