'The Elder Scrolls 6' Release Date News Update: Bethesda Finally Confirms 'Game Is In The Works'
Bethesda has finally put an end to the seemingly never-ending guessing game on the release of "The Elder Scrolls 6."
According to Bethesda's Todd Howard, the video game is already in the works. However, he admitted that they are not actively pursuing the game as a big project yet as they still have around three other priority projects on the pipeline.
Despite that, the news that "The Elder Scrolls 6" was good enough for fans of the game who have been in anticipation of a follow-up since the release of its predecessor, "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim." While the Bethesda representative already confirmed that the wait for "The Elder Scrolls 6" would take a while, fans are still happy to know that it is indeed happening. In fact, some have already started making speculations about the features of the sequel.
Considering Bethesda's history in developing games, it becomes quite easier for fans to speculate which particular features will appear on "The Elder Scrolls 6."
One speculation is that the upcoming game will feature a further expansion of the settlement building. It can be noted that "Fallout 4," which is another video game created by Bethesda, is also known for its settlement building expansion, only that it is limited because of its post-nuclear world timeline.
Another feature that is rumored to appear on the sequel is the ability to rear and capture animals. This feature previously appeared on the Wasteland Workshops DLC from "Fallout 4." Some believe that adding this feature will greatly complement the expansion of the settlement building, since animals are great sources of food and other materials.
Bethesda has yet to announce the release date of "The Elder Scrolls 6."
