'The Division' Release Date: Beta Pushed Into 2016, Top Secret Alpha Version Already Scheduled
Bummer! Just as gamers were all set to get their hands on the beta version of "Tom Clancy's The Division" with an announced release date this December, Ubisoft, who is the creator of the open-world action-RPG game, pushed back the roll-out to early 2016.
Nonetheless, Ubisoft assures that "The Division's" release date will still remain on March 8, 2016, and will exceed expectations.
Moreover, those who preordered the Xbox One version got to have a special access to a closed Xbox One alpha testing phase Dec. 9 to 12. Meanwhile, those who pre-ordered the Xbox One, PS4, or PC versions will take pleasure in the same experience in early 2016.
The alpha testing phase in December is the first time for the public to try a version of "The Division" that includes more than the Dark Zone PvP enabled areas. This means, players can tell Ubisoft what they think of the game, and how they want the company to improve "The Division."
Trial participants will be asked to keep the experience top-secret and will be signing a non-disclosure agreement that will prohibit the sharing of content and visuals within the game. Bear in mind that Alpha is not a representation of the game, but a version for gaining feedback and insights.
However, those who want to talk about the game and give their feedback may do so in "The Division" forum, a private platform exclusive for Alpha players.
Alpha may be accessed from different countries across the globe, except for China and Japan. The game's voices, subtitles, and interface will be in English until Beta is released in early 2016.
