'The Division' News Update: Online Servers Activated As Game Exits 'Open Beta' For Launch

Tom Clancy's "The Division" has become available online world-wide even before the game's release date is happening the day after. The developer may have opened the servers a bit early for marketing purposes or it may be because they have to test a couple things first before they finalize.

According to Independent UK, the game was supposed to be released on the 8th of March but fortunately for some gamers who were able to secure a copy of the game, they were able to access and get into the game online and play the game as early as now.

Those lucky players were able to explore the game, the settings, the maps and even the game's soundtracks. The lucky ones were able to stream their game online, allowing the rest of us to have a clear picture of what the game would look like ones it comes out.

But really, what is happening here? How could someone secure a copy so early? Is this a leakage of some sort?

Also according to the site, the developers of the game have recently opened an open beta. Gamers were able to play the free trial over the weekend. Tom Clancy's The Division is an open world third-person shooter role-playing action video game which is played online and developed and published by Ubisoft. The game developers had assistance from Red Storm Entertainment. The game is available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The game's plot shows that the United States is swept by a smallpox pandemic also known as Black Friday, forcing the protagonists, a bunch on highly trained tactical agents, to rescue survivors and lead them to safety.
