'The Casual Vacancy' New Trailer New: J.K Rowling's New HBO Series Launches Full Teaser [VIDEO]
The full trailer for the new mini series, "The Casual Vacancy', based on the book by J.K. Rowling, has been officially released by HBO.
The book, "The Casual Vacancy,' released in the year 2012, was Rowling's first book for adult readers. The plot is set in a suburban West County town called Pagford and it all begins with the death a Parish Councillor that leads into a power chase for the vacant council seat.
The book received positive critical acclaim, with Time Magazine saying, "It's a big, ambitious, brilliant, profane, funny, deeply upsetting and magnificently eloquent novel of contemporary England, rich with literary intelligence and entirely bereft of b******t."
The mini series is directed by Jonny Campbell and is all set to release in the United States on April 29.
Parts one and two of the mini series will air Wednesday, April 29, while part three will air Thursday, April 30.
On the cast are Rory Kinnear, Emily Bevan, Michael Gambon, Julia McKenzie, Rufus Jones and Keeley Hawes.
Gambon, who also played the central character in the motion picture adaptation of the previous Rowling's book, the "Harry Potter' series, will be playing the role of Howard Mollison, a main character in the HBO series.
