'The Blacklist' Season 4 News, Spoilers: Is Liz Going To Learn More About Her Identity?
After the shocking revelation that Liz Keen's death was faked, Megan Boone is all set to return to "The Blacklist" season 4.
In the season 3 finale, Liz made the decision to fake her death just so she could have a way out of her relationship with Red. This was confirmed by actress Megan Boone herself in a recent interview. According to Boone, she decided to desert Red so she could know more about her mother and her real identity.
The actress also revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that motherhood had had a tremendous impact on Liz in "The Blacklist" season 3.
"When she saw that the life of her baby was at risk because Red was in her life, it had gone too far. No matter what her personal reasons for engaging with Red before, they all fell away with the birth of her child," she said.
However, Boone revealed that Liz should brace up for a bumpy road ahead as she returns for season 4.
In season 3, Liz got to learn more about her identity as Marsha Rostova. As she returns next season, fans are eager to know if she will be able to find out more about herself without the help of Red.
According to Boone, it is still difficult to foresee Liz's future without Red, so there is a high chance that she will still seek his help in season 4. However, she noted that Red might need to adjust as he needs to work with a completely different woman when Liz returns.
"The Blacklist" season 4 airs on September 22 on NBC.
