'The Blacklist' Season 2 News: Viewers Reunite With Red in Post SuperBowl Premiere
February 1st may be on some people's calendars for the SuperBowl, but immediately following the football game, fans of 'The Blacklist' will remain seated as the show will air its mid-season 2 premiere.
The latter half of the show's second season promises to bring some changes to the story, as well as a new character. This newbie will be played by Ron Perlman (known from 'Sons of Anarchy'), and he will definitely be a bad guy.
There will be more of the same, of course, but hopefully new developments will arise. Every follower of the show is dying to know the link between Red and Liz. Hopefully, the next chapter of Season 2 will provide some pieces to the puzzle.
A promotional video for 'The Blacklist' has been leaving fans of the show hungry for more. The video portrays Red, who has been kidnapped, ditching his enemy the Scimitar for Samar Navabi to avenge her sibling's tragic death. Telling Navabi not to do anything he wouldn't do, Red is pretty much opening the floodgates for more murder.
The video continued to depict Red in his kidnapped state as he is hanging up by chains. The question remains of how exactly in the second half of the season does Red meet this doom, and how will he gain ground against this new villain played by Perlman?
The midseason premiere is bound to let fans in on the scoop, but they will have to wait just a bit longer.
'The Blacklist' is shown on television network NBC and will move to a permanent time slot at 9 pm on Thursday nights after the midseason premiere following the Superbowl on February 1st.
