In 'The Blacklist' Season 2 episode 20, fans saw Red (James Spader) going on the offensive by kidnapping a Cabal leader named Kenneth Jasper (James A. Stephens). Since, every action has an opposite reaction, in the upcoming episode of the crime television drama series titled 'Karakurt,' Cabal will be seen striking back at Red.

Quoting the official synopsis of 'The Blacklist' Season 2 episode 21, IB Times reports that Cabal will be seen out for some payback next week using a dangerous Russian killer named Karakurt. However, obviously, Liz (Megan Boone) is aware of the new foe. In fact, Quon Zhang (Ron Yuan) owned up smuggling the assassin into the country when he was interrogated by Liz in episode 20 of the show.

Nevertheless, this does not mean that it will make things easier to nab the killer enemy. In fact, Liz and Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) will be seen meeting Russian intelligence officials with a view to obtain some information on Karakurt. According to the synopsis, Liz will be seen getting more than what she had bargained for when the Russians present her with some information regarding the identity of her mother too.

In addition, the promo for the upcoming episode 'Karakurt' shows that the Cabal is planning an attack on American soil and they are likely to target Liz! The video clip shows a man in a car carrying an alarming amount of explosives. Subsequently, it appears that a bomb explodes as Ressler shouts Liz's name. Do the explosives belong to Karakurt? Fans of the show will have to wait till Thursday to know that.
