Throughout 'The Blacklist' Season 2, Red (James Spader) was seen trying to find the Fulcrum and eventually, the secrets of the blackmail file were revealed in episode 19 titled 'Leonard Caul.' Following this, some high-status people are targeting Red as well as Liz (Megan), as they are not very happy about the exposure of the Fulcrum.

The official synopsis for 'The Blacklist' Season 2 episode 20 titled 'Quon Zhang' says that now Red will require finding a way to counteract an imminent threat owing to the exposure of the Fulcrum. Fans will also see Liz and the FBI task force taking up a new case. As the bodies of dead Chinese-American women start showing up, the FBI finds that some people are trafficking women out of the country under fake identities.

According to IB Times, Liz will also be seen searching for further answers regarding Red after discovering that mysterious picture in an apartment allegedly owned by Red in episode 19.

Nevertheless, the promo for 'The Blacklist' Season 2 episode 20 clearly shows that while Liz may still not trust Red, they are both in some real danger. Fans have seen Liz using the Fulcrum to her advantage to compel the National Clandestine Services director (David Stathairn) to stop the raid on the warehouse where Red was undergoing treatment for his gunshot wounds. Now the NCS as well as the remaining members of the secretive cabal of corrupt intelligence figures after Red see Liz as a threat also.

In the promo for 'Quon Zhang,' Red is seen warning Liz that people will try to destroy her, but she does not appear to be afraid. Liz tells Red, "Let them try."

While this may be naive, as the promo further reveals that Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq) will be shot! Moreover, it appears that some extremely dangerous people are after Red and Liz.
