"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 is set to end with episode 24 and it is revealed that Leonard's and Sheldon's parents are coming to town. Also, the episode is set to see Leonard's wedding once more and he invites the people who are close to him this time.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 24 is entitled "The Convergence Convergence," the season finale. According to Spoilers Guide, Leonard's formerly divorced parents and Sheldon's religious mother are set to come to town and this would lead to trouble.

The prime reason behind Leonard and Sheldon's parents' visit to the town are yet to be revealed; thus, their impact to Leonard, Sheldon, and the people around them are yet to be unveiled.

Episode 24 is also set to see Koothrappali and Wolowitz think that the government aims to get them when they made contact with regard their guidance system.

In other news, episode 24 will also see Leonard and Penny's wedding; however, it is made sure that this time, their parents and friends are invited to witness the event personally, as per Inquisitr. Leonard's mother was unhappy, as she was not invited to her son's wedding; nonetheless, it is going to change as Penny promised that she and Leonard would invite the family and closest friends to the wedding.

"The Convergence Convergence" follows "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 23, which is entitled "The Line Substitution Solution." According to Spoilers Guide, Penny found it hard and challenging to develop some bond with Leonard's mother. In addition, the episode saw Sheldon enlist Stuarts help, asking the latter to spend his day with Amy when he would go to a film screening instead.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 23, "The Line Substitution Solution," aired on May 5 while episode 24, "The Convergence Convergence" (season finale), is set to air on May 12.
