Penny is reportedly going to face a major hurdle when "The Big Bang Theory" returns for its 10^th season.

The release date of the series has just been revealed, so it won't be long before fans finally know what is in store for Penny and Leonard, who eloped in the previous season but decided to have their respective families witness them tie the knot. Viewers will catch a glimpse of their wedding in the upcoming season.

According to reports, Penny's family will visit her for her wedding, complicating things. It can be recalled that in the previous seasons, Penny never made any mention of her mother Susan, since the only parent she introduced was her father Wyatt. Next season, Penny will finally introduce her mother and her ex-convict brother, Randall.

Randall has been a trouble over the years, putting a lot of stress on Susan. Executive producer Steve Molaro revealed that in the new season, Penny and her dad will be caught in the middle of tensions between Susan and Randall.

The premiere episode of season 10 will also see Mary, Sheldon's mother, and Wyatt have an awkward morning after going out for dinner the previous night.

There are also speculations that a new family arrangement will emerge in season 10, and this has to do with Sheldon and Leonard being stepbrothers. While talks about this possibility continue among fans, the creators of the show have not confirmed anything about the issue.
