'The Bachelorette' 2016 Cast News, Spoilers: Is Robby Hayes Planning To Return To The 'Bachelor Nation?'
After "The Bachelorette 2016" wrapped up, runner-up Robby Hayes plans on returning to the Bachelor Nation.
On Thursday, Hayes stopped by ET's offices to talk about his intent to join the show.
According to reports, Hayes is currently recovering from his split from Jojo Fletcher, who chose Jordan Rodgers over him. Hayes described the split as "very difficult," and seeing her after the Rose Ceremony was "not easy at all."
He also admitted skipping through Jojo's interactions with other men as he watched the last few episodes of the reality dating show because it was all too painful.
However, he said he's friends with Rodgers so he's happy for the new couple.
"I have no regrets at all from the show," he said.
"The only thing that I was a little disappointed in was there are certain specific moments in a guy's life--asking for that blessing from the parents, picking up that diamond ring that she is going to keep forever and that pre-proposal speech--that I will never get back. Those are, in my eyes and my family's, traditions that should only be done once in a lifetime," said Hayes.
After the interview, Hayes went home to Florida to see his family. According to him, his family has helped him recover from the breakup.
On being the next bachelor, Hayes said, "I know the journey works because I fell in love once. I believe I could do it again, and if it taught me anything, it taught me not to rule out any avenue to find love," he said.
