In previews for the upcoming episode of The Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe is grinning from ear to ear when Nick Viall arrives in New York to see her.

However, this is not the first time that the two will be getting to know one another, as they have been texting for quite some time, and according to a new report, some of the text messages that the two shared "bordered on explicit."

Bristowe and Viall began talking in January, after he saw her on Chris Soules' season of The Bachelor.

A source talked to Us magazine about the relationship between the two, and how it all began.

"They started talking in January before Chris' season ended," says the source. "They weren't texting like, 'Hey, I want to get to know you.' It was heavy, heavy, heavy flirtation. Kaitlyn found him charming."

The source also added that in speaking to friends about Bristowe, Viall did not focus much on her looks.

"When he first described Kaitlyn to me, he spend under 30 seconds describing her appearance, and about 10 beers worth of time talking about her personality, their connection and how happy he was to have that type of relationship in his life."

That definitely seems like a good thing.

Fans of the reality television series first met Viall on Andi Dorfman's season, in which he was portrayed as an antagonist, after telling everyone that he and Dorfman made love in the fantasy suite during the After the Final Rose special.

Many of the contestants on the show believe he is back for more screen time.
