'The Bachelorette' 2015 Recap Spoilers: Ian Causes Problems for Kaitlyn
A common theme in the season's The Bachelorette is contestants seemingly going off the deep end. So far, we have seen Ryan M., Kupah and Tony have meltdowns on the show, and on Monday, former front runner in the competition, Ian, lost his cool completely.
He blatantly shamed Kaitlyn as he talked about how much sex he has and how good of a catch he is. He even stated that he thought he would be a good Bachelor.
Meanwhile, Nick being introduced to the competition pushed Joshua to the edge, though he was not the only contestant whose feathers were ruffled by this.
For the rose ceremony this episode, Kaitlyn invited contestants to stand in the middle of New York City's Citi Field in the dead of winter.
Before the ceremony, the guys continued to complain about Nick's presence, with Shawn telling Kaitlyn that he hoped he was smarter and that Nick is not genuine.
Many of the guys referred to Nick as "the other guy".
In the end, though Kaitlyn was obviously moved by what the other contestants had to say about her choice to invite Nick, she decided that he should stay and sent Ryan, Jonathan and Corey home.
Later in the show, it became clear that Ian was a bit full of himself.
He became frustrated at Kaitlyn's seeming inattention to him, and his impatience manifested itself in his interviews, speaking to other contestants, and even speaking to Kaitlyn.
To Kaitlyn, he said, "I feel like you're here to make out with a bunch of dudes on TV."
