'The 100' Season 4 Spoilers, Release Date: Clarke Griffin Saves The World; Octavia Has A New Love Interest

Since the previous installment of "The 100" ended in May, fans have been anxiously waiting for The CW to announce when the series will return for its fourth season.

According to reports, the stars of the post-apocalyptic science fiction drama have already started filming for the new season so fans do not need to worry about the show's cancellation. However, it worries fans that the people behind the series have kept mum about the release date of season 4.

Season 4 will reportedly see the return of Zach McGowan as Roan, Nadia Hilker as Luna, Eliza Taylor as Clarke and Bob Marley as Mellamy.

As for its plot, there are reports saying that Clarke will put all of her attention in trying to save the world and the people. On the other hand, Bellamy will stay by her side and do everything he can to help.

The story is different for Clarke's sister, Octavia. Previous reports confirmed that the character will head down a very dark alley next season, especially after the death of Lincoln in the previous season. However, there are also reports about a new lover waiting for Octavia in season 4. There are speculations that her new love interest will be the key for her to get out of the abyss she is into.

The Grounders and the Sky Crew are also rumored to form an alliance next season for survival purposes. Some reports also claim that Luna will become stronger than Lexa and will unleash her inner strength in the new episodes.

"The 100" season 4 is expected to premiere sometime in February on The CW.
