According to TV Line, the season 3 finale of "The 100" also saw Alie try to keep Clarke from hitting the kill switch and this was done through telling the world's most uncomfortable bedtime story. Clarke seemed unaware of the potential consequences that might happen if he pressed the switch.
The story mentioned that there were a dozen nuclear facilities waiting to blow, should the kill switch be engaged. It was added that 96 percent of the earth surface would be uninhabitable in less than six months, which also affected those born outside the planet. To conclude, the season finale saw Clarke hit the switch.
"The 100" season 3 episode 15, "Perverse Instantiation - Part One," aired on May 12, while episode 16, "Perverse Instantiation - Part Two," aired on May 19.
