The producers of the newest installment in the Terminator series, Terminator Genisys, have released a trailer for the movie. The trailer features a big spoiler which will likely be a disappointment to many fans of the franchise.

The video reveals that John Connor, who is being played by Jason Clark in this movie is a human cyborg hybrid who is now working for Skynet and against his mother, Sarah Connor, who is being played by Emilia Clarke.

In a statement made to entertainment Weekly, Jason Clark said the plot twist in the new movie "takes it from a typical machine chasing the good guys to giving it a bit more complexity within the same realm."

In regards to the character that he plays, Clarke says that "Technology has become more and more ingrained inside of us and John becomes the ultimate realization of that."

The actor teases fans as well, by stating that the his character, John Connor, has even more capabilities now that he is not one hundred percent human or one hundred percent machine either.

He says that he is something else and he continues to evolve into something more. Clarke also states that there will be many surprises in terms of what he will become in the end, and whether he can be controlled.

The actor says that Connor is the final risk that Skynet is taking and something that no one has ever seen, so no one knows how far it can go. He advises fans who do not like the idea that John is not the protagonist in this movie to wait and see how the plot of the movie turns out.
