The Tennessee Volunteers will face the Iowa Hawkeyes on January 2 at the EverBank Field in Jacksonville, Florida.

The game starts at 3:20 pm ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

The Volunteers (6-6) are trying to extend their current winning streak to two games when they battle the Hawkeyes in the Taxslayer Bowl.

"It's hard not to be satisfied with that because that was our goal, to be in a bowl game," said Tennessee OL Kyler Kerbyson to reporters.

"But we look at it as we didn't do it in the prettiest way. It wasn't a nine-win, 10-win season. It was a six-win (season). We just got there. That keeps us level-headed and keeps us humble going in."

Previously, the Volunteers defeated their SEC East divisional foes Vanderbilt Commodores by a final score of 24-17, after Tennessee QB Joshua Dobbs went 11-20 for only 92 yards with two interceptions on November 29.

"It rewards everyone for their resiliency, particularly our seniors," said Vols head coach Butch Jones to reporters.

"This will be their first bowl game."

Meanwhile, the Hawkeyes (7-5) are trying to evade a potential three game losing streak when they clash with the Volunteers on Friday afternoon.

"We know how good of a team we can be when we execute and we don't have missed assignments or errors," said Iowa DB Jordan Lomax to reporters.

The Hawkeyes recently lost to their Big Ten West adversaries, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, by a final score of 37-34, after QB Jake Rudock went 19-38 for 230 yards, which was highlighted by two touchdown and an interception on November 29.
