'Tekken 7' Release Date News, Rumors: Will Bandai Namco Announce New Game Tokyo Game Show?

The Tokyo Game Show is expected to be a major event for the video gaming industry this year and the rumor mill is already abuzz with what fans can expect from the upcoming event, slated for Sept. 17 and 18.

Christian Today reports that 'Tekken 7' is one of the highly anticipated games that are likely to be announced at this year's Tokyo Game Show.

In fact, fans of the highly popular fighting game franchise are aware that 'Tekken 7' is already available in Japan. While the arcade version of 'Tekken 7' was released in Japan in February this year, thus far, the game has been limited to that.

It is expected that this time around, Bandai will be announcing that 'Tekken 7' will eventually be available for PlayStation 4 (PS4) as well as Xbox One.

According to reports, the director and chief producer of 'Tekken' franchise, Katsuhiro Harada is likely to be the make the announcement himself at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show.

In fact, all titles from the 'Tekken' series has always been a big deal for Bandai and probably this is the reason why Harada is also requesting for fan input so that they can ensure that their most recent release will also be highly successful. Harada is already requesting fans regarding their experiences about trying out the arcade version of 'Tekken 7.'
