'Tekken 7' Release Date: New Characters Bob, Master Raven’s Punches, Kicks Shown In Trailer?

New characters are set to join the growing character ensemble of Bandai Namco's "Tekken 7," Bob and Master Raven.

"Tekken" director Katsuhiro Harada announced last weekend at the Evolution Fighting Championships 2016 that Bob and Master Raven are set to be included in the upcoming "Tekken 7," PC Gamer has learned.

The characters were revealed in separate trailers. Bob's trailer opened with the character performing a headstand and then changes to a standing position. The character sports a white polo topped with a blue and red colored outer polo, a pair of pants with holes at the knee area, and a pair of gloves.

When it comes to moveset, Bob can toss his opponent to the air and kick him after. He can do several consecutive kicks that the opponent could not regain a fighting stance. Bob can also hit his opponent with a kick and follow-up with a punch. Even the opponent already fell from a bridge, Bob still pursues him with his powerful punches and kicks.

Opposing players will not let Bob corner their characters, as the fighter would just throw his consecutive punches and kicks, leaving the opposing character helpless. Along with his fist and footwork, Bob is also capable of unleashing power from his stomach. Watch Bob's trailer here.

Meanwhile, Master Raven is introduced through her ninja-like moves despite of her metallic armor. Just like Bob, Raven can also throw punches and kicks to the opponent several times. However, one thing that separates the two "Tekken" fighters is Raven's agility when it comes to shifting from one stance to another.

Players also have to avoid being cornered by Raven as her swift attacks will not give their characters a chance to fight back, especially when Raven's body glows in a blue color.

"Tekken 7" is assumed to be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows in early 2017.
