'Tekken 7' Release Date, News: Gameplay Going To Cover Cross-Platform?

New details on the release date of Bandai Namco's "Tekken 7" have surfaced. In addition, the title is set to have a cross-platform gameplay, according to its creator.

"Tekken 7" is set to be released in the early part of 2017 globally, according to The Bit Bag. It is revealed that Bandai Namco told Game Spot that the upcoming game title is set to come for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.

Along with the release date, it is also revealed that "Tekken 7" is set to have a cross-platform gameplay. In his interview with the publication, "Tekken" series creato Katsuhiro Harada also revealed that they were considering cross-platform play on all the aforementioned platforms,

According to Harada, implementing the cross-platform gameplay would not be a big challenge for the team, as the game developers already had ideas on how they would execute the said plan. While this may be easy for the crew, they are yet to face and resolve some issues in order to uphold a smooth sailing gameplay and interplay among the three platforms.

"Tekken 7" is one of the highly sought-after games in the gaming realm and it hit the market as a limited arcade game in Japan in February 2015. Now, the studio considers balanced gameplay across the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows, for all fans and games to have a truly enjoyable gaming experience.

Along with the cross-platform gameplay, Harada also mentioned about the probability of Kazuya or Heihachi's possible inclusion in a "Tekken 7" collector's edition. As an answer to Twitter user Derin (@DerinAHalil) on June 17, Harada wrote that the team would consider. Thus, it is feasible for fans and gamers to see it happen.
