'Tekken 7' PS4 Release Date, Characters, Gameplay News Update: Fated Retribution Going To Be Available On PS4

There was a previous post from GameStop saying that "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" will be exclusively available on the PlayStation 4. It was now taken down due to "inaccuracy and weirdness" according to some reports.

According to Yibada, game designer Michael Murray said that the game will only be available as of now on the PlayStation 4 and also said that it will be up to the upper management's decision if ever they will make it available on other gaming consoles.

Meanwhile, "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" will feature Nina Williams and as well as Akuma from "Street Fighter" along with other more new characters. However, the development of the anticipated "Tekken X Street Fighter" will not push through anymore. Game producer Katsuhiro Harada said according to GameSpot that the development will not be sought through because it may "fracture" the audience of both the franchise.

However, according to some news, it's not permanently put down. It was just put on hold for the meantime and maybe the producers are just planning out other ways to properly execute the project. Wouldn't it be great to see "Tekken X Street Fighter" come into fruition?

While only available for the PlayStation 4, "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" will be released on arcades this July. As for "Tekken 7" it's already available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Tekken 7 was the first in the franchise to use the "Unreal Engine." It is set to be released for the PlayStation 4 which is reported to be fully functional with the upcoming PlayStation VR system.
