'Tekken 7: Fated Retribution' Release Date Update: Arcade Version Set To Debut Ahead Of PS4, Xbox One Editions

At last! The "Tekken 7" release date is almost here. Geeks and game freaks around the world are thrilled about the news that the much-awaited "Fated Retribution" update will be coming to arcades as well. Here's what we know so far about the upcoming game improvements.

Christian Post writes that "Tekken 7" will only be available on select gaming consoles, such as Xbox One and PS4.

However, Christian Today's updated news revealed that the highly-anticipated game update will also be expanded to arcade release in Japan. It is rumored that the arcade debut will come earlier than the official release on consoles.

Citing AM Net's announcement, N4BB reports that the newest version can be purchased as pre-order until March 18 for those who own an arcade system. Additionally, players may want to mark their calendars and expect that the new version launches in July.

Meanwhile, Christian Post revealed a "Tekken 7" video clip featuring a crossover between Street Fighter characters. Popular players, namely Tokido and Nobi used Akuma and Dragunov during the 20-minute fight held at the Japan Amusement Expo 2016 that took place recently.

Despite being a character from Street Fighter, the website also stated that Akuma has a link to Tekken. He has a connection with the Mishima family members Kazumi and Heihachi. Moreover, Nina Williams is also included in the game but only for the expanded version.

Fans are expecting "Tekken 7" to surpass the previous iterations in the series in terms of graphics and gameplay.
