'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Sequel Spoilers: 'TMNT 2' Gets a Title, Megan Fox is Cast

The title for the sequel to the live-action 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' film may have been leaked by a supporting cast member last week.

According to Ace Show Biz, J.J. Redick of the Los Angeles Clippers announced his role for a scene in the upcoming TMNT sequel on Grantland's "The Lowe Post" podcast. Along with his role he leaked a possible title for it, calling the film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half-Shell.

Paramount Pictures has yet to comment on Redick's statement, saying that this is the official title. Therefore this title could be pure speculation from the basketball player. Redick will have a brief scene along with several other players from his team and the New York Knicks, including Austin Rivers, Matt Barnes, Spencer Hawes and DeAndre Jordan.

According to Movie Pilot the basketball game scene was a part of Vernon Fenwick's (Will Arnett) role in the film. Fenwick will take out his love interest, played by supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio, on a date to a basketball game where they will kiss. This scene was filmed on Wednesday, March 25.

The second installment to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise will also star Megan Fox as April O'Neil and William Fichtner as Eric Sacks. It is unclear whether Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Jonny Knoxville, Jeremy Howard, Tony Shalhoub and Tohoru Masamune will reprise their roles as Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo, Donatello, Splinter and Shredder yet.

Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form will return to produce. Josh Applebaum ad Andre Nemec wrote the script. David Green will replace Jonathan Liebesman as director.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half Shell begins filming in April of this year and is set to release in theaters on June 3, 2016.
