'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2' Release Date: Coming To Theaters On June 3, Movie Posters Officially Out

New posters for "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows" is officially out. The sequel continues the story that was left off from the reboot which was released in 2014.

The posters that display the four iconic turtles can now be seen online, as per Screen Rant report. Meanwhile, a new director has been introduced to helm the second film.

Director Jonathan Liebesman has set foot in the production team to replace David Green. On the other hand, most of the team are still intact, as Michael Bay remained as the producer with screenwriters Josh Applebaum and André Nemec.

As for the characters, the lead stars are back to reprise their roles as well. Actors Pete Ploszek (Leonardo), Noel Fisher (Michelangelo), Jeremy Howard (Donatello), and Alan Ritchson (Raphael) will appear on the film once again with Megan Fox as reporter April O'Neil and Will Arnett as April's cameraman, Vernon Fenwick.

UPI also added that  the heroes will fight against Krang and his monstrous henchmen Bebop and Rocksteady, to be played by Gary Anthony Williams and WWE Superstar Sheamus, respectively.

Regarding their roles in the upcoming motion picture, Pete Ploszek revealed that there are many things that they've learned from the first film that was applied in the sequel.

"I think that has informed our approach to this one though in the sense that I think we're all very aware of the movie we made last time. What worked. What didn't work," the actor said.

"When you see what made it and what didn't make it (into the final cut), it really informs your choices as an actor." he added. It was a good start, and according to him, seeing the final product from their motion-captured scenes are "educational."

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" hit theaters on June 3.
