New reports are claiming that Laura Linney has been confirmed as the latest addition to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 cast.

The actress, known for her role in The Big C, will be joining returning cast members, including Megan Fox and Will Arnett, as well as new on screen romantic interests for the pair, to be played by Stephen Amell and Alessandra Ambrosio.

Michael Bay will be returning to produce the film, and Dave Green, of Earth to Echo will be directing it.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is set to hit the big screen on June 3^rd, 2016. The movie is in production currently, and Fox, who is playing April O'Neil, has been seen emulating Britney Spears on the set.

In an Instagram post made by TMZ, she can be seen wearing a blond wig and a schoolgirl outfit during filming.

Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec, who wrote the script on the first film, will be returning to write the script for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.

As of yet, none of the story line for the movie has been revealed to fans, but Bebop and Rocksteady, who are a mutated warthog and rhino, respectively, are expected to appear as villains.

Tyler Perry has also joined the cast as Baxter Stockman, and Brian Tee as the ne Shredder.
