'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2' Cast News: Brittany Ishibashi Cast as Karai in TMNT 2
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 has already released information to fans concerning a long list of villains that will be featured in the second installment of the animated to live action film franchise.
That list continues to grow. In addition to Shredder, whom fans will know from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, there is Baxter Stockman, who will be played by Tyler Perry, Gary Anthony Williams, playing Bebop and there may even be a live action version of Krang.
Fans are quite excited to see this, as Krang is the disembodied brain of a warlord from Dimension X. Krang lives in a mechanical body which was built for him by Shredder.
Some reports from Cinema Blend indicate that there has already been a scene shot in which Krang arrives on earth.
The latest villain who will be added to the cast, is Karai, whom Brittany Ishibashi has been cast to play. Karai is the second in command leader of the Foot Clan, taking control in Shredder's absence.
Karai made a brief cameo in the last Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. She was played by Minae Noji, then. However, according to reports, there will be much more screen time and lines for Karai in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.
Some photos from set that have been released show a much more practical armor for Karai as compared to the one from TMNT.
This means that she may get her own action scene or two. Up to this point, Ishibashi has been playing roles on television.
She has appeared on many series, including Felicity, Angel, Grey's Anatomy, House, Bones and dozens of other television shows.
