'Teen Wolf' Season 6 Spoilers, News: No New Love Partner For Scott?

"Teen Wolf" season 6 is set to return this fall, and that means the comeback of the handsome teen from Beacon Hills Scott McCall. He will always be the old beloved Alpha of the series, only that this season, he is just a single guy living his life without his girlfriend Kira.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Jeff Davis revealed that the upcoming season will see Scott struggling a bit.

"When we realized that the show wasn't going to have Kira Yukimura this season, we wanted to ask ourselves, 'Does Scott always need to have romance in his life to be a compelling character?' We thought this might be a season where we don't see that side and we see him struggling a little bit," he said.

Arden Cho's (Kira) decision to leave the show surprised fans, but the good side to it is that they will get to see Scott without a love interest for the first time.

According to Davis, Scott had two great romances throughout the series. One was his tragic romance with Allison, and the other was the comedic one with Kira. Next season, however, Scott will be portrayed as just a single guy trying to finish his studies and be there for his friends.

Asked about the new development in his character, Tyler Posey said, "It was something I've always been interested in because from the very first episode of 'Teen Wolf,' he falls in love with Allison and then they break up and he immediately meets Kira--so there wasn't really much single time for Scott."

"Teen Wolf" season 6 premieres this fall on MTV.
