"Teen Wolf" is set to unveil the events leading up to its conclusion when it returns for its sixth season. While most fans hope to witness a happy ending for their favorite characters, it looks like not all will be able to survive next season.

According to reports, season 6 will see the death of some characters. This was first revealed by showrunner Jeff Davis. He made the revelation during the MTV show's recent New York Comic-Con panel, where he teased the sad endings for some of the characters.

The showrunner said that while they intend to provide a happy conclusion to all the relationship hurdles existing in the series, not all characters will be able to get that joyful end. Davis remained tight-lipped about the said development in the story, but he confirmed that some characters will say goodbye in season 6.

"Certain characters will find their end this season," he said.

During the event, the cast members of the series also had the chance to reminisce their filming sessions and talk about the kind of teamwork and camaraderie that they shared since season 1.  Tyler Posey particularly commented on the great friendship he had developed with his co-star Dylan O'Brien. In the series, they play Scott and Stiles, respectively.

"Teen Wolf" season 6 is expected to feature darker tones compared with the previous seasons. In a recent interview, Posey hinted that the series finale will show the heartbreaking aftermath of the disappearance of Stiles.

"Teen Wolf" season 6 premieres on November 15 on MTV.
