It's still a long wait for fans of "Teen Wolf" before season 6 finally arrives, but speculations and spoilers about the upcoming series are already rife.

According to reports, actor Tyler Hoechlin is rejoining the "Teen Wolf" cast for its final season despite his prior acting commitments with "Supergirl." Hoechlin is reportedly doing just two episodes for The CW's superhero series, which means that after he's done with the filming, he'll be free to join the cast of "Teen Wolf" again.

Fans of "Teen Wolf" know Hoechlin as Derek Hale, the mentor of Scott who made his last appearance on the series in season 4. It is speculated that when the series returns for its 6^th season, the actor will reprise his role as Hale.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that "Teen Wolf" season 6 will bring in a new set of villains so as to not disappoint fans. Being the final season of the series, the introduction of new villains is expected to delight fans.

The announcement that the upcoming season will be the series' final season was made at the San Diego Comic-Con last month. In his interview with The Wrap, actor J.R. Bourne revealed that the announcement also came as a surprise to the cast members as they hadn't been told about it.

"I think we all feel quite good with how we're ending it. We've told all these crazy, amazing stories, and I feel really good that we're going out the way we are. But it'll be missed, absolutely," he said.
