'Teen Wolf' Season 6 News, Spoilers: Show Set To Work Around O'Brien's Schedule
Fans may not see much of Stiles in "Teen Wolf" season 6.
Speculations about Dylan O'Brien's Stiles' involvement in the upcoming installment have been going around since he joined the cast of the "The Maze Runner" franchise, but things got thrown even further into question when the actor suffered grave injuries while filming for the said movie. While this is a piece of bad news for fans, the good news is that his current condition is reportedly not going to affect his appearance on the show.
According to reports, the show has come up with ways to keep Stiles on the show despite his tight schedule. His scenes from "Teen Wolf" season 6 were filmed prior to the filming of "The Maze Runner," and these scenes will just be edited later into the season. This means that most of Stiles' scenes in the upcoming season will be of the character on his own.
There are speculations that since the show will work around O'Brien's schedule, there is a huge chance that Stiles will be kidnapped in season 6 and saving him will become the focus of the season. The theory was somewhat established by "Teen Wolf" executive producer Jeff Davis.
In his interview with Entertainment Weekly, Davis said, "Stiles is a big part of the season because a lot of this season's mystery revolves around him. We're going to see just what Stiles' friendship means to Scott, Lydia and Malia. We're going to see why exactly he's Scott's best friend, what it means that he's Malia's human anchor, and what his will-they-or-won't-they relationship with Lydia."
