'Teen Wolf' Season 6 Air Date, Spoilers: Sixth Season To Feature Zombies and Vampires?

While waiting for the show's return, fans of "Teen Wolf" cannot help but speculate on what to expect for the whole new season.

First off, a huge rumor has been spreading like wildfire that the new season will premiere in June. A lot of news sites have confirmed that this is a safe bet since all the other seasons launched in June as well. As for the exact date of the premiere, news sites and fans are adamant that it is likely to premiere on June 13.

So what should we expect from the show, if ever it really does launch in June 13?

Rumors have it that the show will feature vampires in the next season to follow the trend of showing a nazi werewolf in season 5. Aside from vampires, rumors are also circulating that the show may also feature zombies, as triggered by the appearance of the Dread Doctors in the past. MTV reported that Teen Wolf may follow the pattern employed by The Walking Dead and The Vampire Diaries. However, these rumors were quickly cleared out by showrunner Jeff Davis, saying that the show features a different kind of mythology from vampires and zombies. Nonetheless, a major speculation is that Ghost Riders and Deucalion might be the first villains in the next season, while the Yuxas and Naguals, Deucalion, and a new myth will be the villains in the latter part of season 6.

The showrunner also clears the rumors that Dylan O'Brien will be replaced in the show as O'Brien is fine enough to film, although the same cannot be said regarding him performing some stunts.

As the cast comes back for their senior year, it is also expected that the show will be dealing with more mature issues. What's more, Shelley Hannig has also confirmed that her character, Malia, is not dead and will be back next season.
