After the premiere of season five of 'Teen Wolf', fans collectively lost it after Lydia, played by Holland Roden, said that Alison, who is portrayed by Crystal Reed, "still is" with them.

This combined with Scott, played by Tyler Posey, writing her initials have made fans of the popular supernatural television drama demand to know whether or not Alison is coming back.

Executive Producer, Jeff Davis, discussed the rumors with Hollywood Life.

"I can't commit to anything, but some days, we're surprised by our ideas in thinking 'Oh, that'd be good? We wonder'" said Davis.

The rumors that Alison would return began in March, when she walked on the red carpet before the Teen Wolf panel at PaleyFest in LA. Davis did add that even though fans are crushed at the writers' decision to kill Alison off in season three, there is a need to stay true to the narrative decisions that have been made.

"Part of what we're thinking is to stay true, stay committed to our narrative decision," continued Davis. "Well she's dead, we need to commit to that. Most of the time, when we bring back people, it's villains. It's harder to bring back heroes. It's always easier to bring back villains because they come back to torture you more."

Although some fans would love to see some villains return to the shoe, Davis did not offer much in the way of surprise returns for Alison, or even Colton Haynes, who has now finished his work on Arrow.
