'Teen Wolf' Season 5 Release Date, MTV News: New 'TW' Episodes & 'Eye Candy' Gets Cancelled

MTV recently revealed some good news for its fans but finished with some bad news as well. First, 'Teen Wolf' has announced its official premiere date for its upcoming new season and two new fan favorites will be returning for yet another season, but one will have to say goodbye.

According to reports, there will be two premiere dates for the hit supernatural series 'Teen Wolf'. One will be on Monday, June 29 at 10:00 pm and the next day Tuesday, June 30 at 9:00 pm. The series which features Tyler Posey who plays Scott and Dylan O'Brien who plays Stiles will finally return in an even more intense season.

In MTV's description, fans would definitely be excited to see the show back on their TV screens. "On the eve of senior year, Scott and his friends find themselves facing the possibility of a future without each other, a next phase of their lives that might take them in different directions despite their best intentions. Little do they know that outside forces are already plotting to break the pack apart long before graduation," MTV said.

Meanwhile, MTV has announced that there will be more 'Faking It' on their TV screens in the near future.

The series which stars Katie Stevens will have a summer premiere on Monday, August 31 at 9:30 pm. Lastly, the bad news is that the techno-thriller MTV series 'Eye Candy' will be cancelled and will not be returning for its second season.

The series ran for 10 episodes which apparently gained only minimal viewership which led the network to finally end it despite thousands of fans wanting another season. The star herself, Victoria Justice announced it via Twitter.

"Even though a lot of you are going to feel sad/angry, please know that playing Lindy Sampson is something that I loved and I will hold dear to my heart," Justice wrote.
