MTV's hit series "Teen Wolf" has been soaring successful among the young people and young at heart alike. While some of our favorite characters, like Allison, had left the series, the actress behind the role is back with a new portrayal. Catch the details below.

Crystal Reed is back on the fictional series, notes IB Times. Instead of reprising her role as Allison, she will be playing as the 18th Century French Woman, Marie-Jeanne Valet, who will take on against the Beast of Gevaudan.

"She would be known by history as the Maid of Gévaudan, but her real name was Marie-Jeanne," Allison's grandfather Gerard Argent narrates in an audio teaser, quoted via source. On the other hand, the sneak preview provided by MTV, she is seen to be wielding a bow and arrow while wandering in a snowy forest.

Meanwhile, the other preview reveals that the Beast attacked the hunters and the team and as a result, Marie-Jeanne got separated from the group. Unarmed with light torches, shooting arrow became a hard task for her. Later on, the Beast finally found her and she got cornered, she's got to defend herself in which we will witness very soon.

As for the Beast, Carter Matt notes that it will be a big revelation. While we know nothing about who is "exactly underneath the shadow of the Beast," it will be a question to be addressed by the show in the later episodes.

They also guessed that someone similar to Allison could be featured on the show so let us keep our fingers crossed for updates in the future. "Teen Wolf" Season 5 Episode 18 airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on MTV.
