'Teen Mom' Leah Messer Calvert News: Reality Star Checks into Therapy

Leah Messer Calvert, the 23-year-old star of Teen Mom 2, has had a rocky time over the past few years.

She has been juggling a marriage with her estranged husband, Jeremy Calvert, which is falling apart, and dealing with the responsibility of taking care of her three children, Ali, Aleeah and Adalynn.

The star, who is a native of West Virginia, has had enough of the pressure and is doing what she has to do in order to keep her sanity and take care of herself and her three daughters.

A source close to Messer discussed her decision in a statement made to In Touch magazine.

"She's ready for her 30 day stint of therapy," says the source. "She's being treated for depression and stress. She's always put people's needs ahead of her own, and her mental health suffered because of it."

On May 31st, Messer checked herself in to Cirque Lodge in Utah, an upscale rehabilitation facility.

The facility has treated several A list stars, including Eva Mendes, Mary Kate Olsen and Lindsay Lohan.

After dealing with custody battles, an upcoming divorce and a pill problem, it seems like Messer just needs time to get herself on track.

"Leah is finally ready to make a positive change in her life and get treatment," adds the insider. "She's grateful that she's in a position and has the means to get some of the best help in the world. She is taking all the steps necessary to make sure she not only takes care of herself but also [her daughters]."
