'Teen Mom' Jenelle Evans News: Reality Stars Wanted for Domestic Violence Charges
Jenelle Evans, star of Teen Mom 2 just cannot seem to stay out of trouble. This time, she has gotten into it with the law for alleged domestic violence.
The reality TV star apparently attacked her ex-fiance Nathan Griffith. Griffith sustained minor injuries, including bruising and scratches around his neck, according to a report from police.
There has been a warrant issued for Evans' arrest. The report from the Myrtle Beach Police Department states that Evans lured her ex outside by damaging his car and then proceeded to choke him, piercing him with her finger nails.
Griffith said that Evans smelled of alcohol at the time of the attack.
Evans Attorney, Amy Lawrence, made a statement to Us Weekly, regarding her client. "I can confirm that there is a warrant out for Jenelle's arrest for criminal domestic violence," stated the lawyer. "She's not taking any charges out on him".
Lawrence also stated that Griffith will attempt to have the charges dropped, because things "escalated in a way they shouldn't have".
Lawrence also informed the magazine that they would be turning Jenelle in the next day. "We are going to turn Jenelle in tomorrow morning, and we'll have her bond hearing tomorrow afternoon in Myrtle Beach City."
Hopefully Griffith is able to get the charges dropped, and give Evans a second chance to reconsider her actions and keep herself and her family out of harm's way, in terms of staying out of trouble with the criminal justice system.
On that note, fans will just have to wait and see what all of this amounts to.
