'Teen Mom 2' Jenelle Evans News: Reality Star Fights for Custody of Son Jace

Reality star Jenelle Evans, age 23, from MTV's Teen Mom 2 wants to have custody over her five-year-old son Jace. Barbara, Jenelle's mother, told her daughter that she could have full custody of Jace on the Season 5 finale of the show.

However, it appears that promise has not been met as Jenelle filed paperwork for full custody, according to Radar Online.

Jace was put into Barbara's home after Jenelle was reported to have alleged drug problems along with other charges. However, the reality star is trying to clean up her life after her divorce with Courtland Rogers back in 2012, and gave birth to her second son, Kai, seven months ago. She is now engaged to 25-year-old underwear model and MMA fighter Nathan Griffiths. The two recently celebrated their engagement with on vacation to St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands.

Jenelle's life changes have not impressed Barbara as Barbara believes Griffiths could be a bad influence to Jace. Griffiths has been known for his tendency to drink, but both he and Janelle haven't been partying too hard since their engagement last month, according to a source who told Radar Online all about the drama going on between the mother and daughter.

The source also told Radar Online that Jenelle has not been able to see her son in a month. Jenelle has asked her mother if she could see Jace, but Barbara insisted that she does not see him because of the court filing.

The two are set to appear in court next month to progress the matter.
