Teen Killer Snaps Selfie With Victim's Body - Confesses After Police Find Alleged Murder Weapon

In some recent and appalling news, a high school student, after allegedly shooting his classmate, uploaded a selfie with the corpse, according to a report by The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

The police have said that the killer shot the boy in the face and posted a selfie, along with the corpse on the popular app, Snapchat.

The police have identified the killer as Maxwell Marion Morton, aged 16, who is charged for killing Ryan Mangan. The police have said in a statement that the photo served as a key piece of evidence against the killer.

Reportedly, the police received a copy of the photo which depicted the victim sitting in the chair with a gunshot wound to the face. It also depicts a black male taking the "selfie,' with his face facing the camera and the victim behind him The photo had the name "Maxwell' across the top," according to The Pittsburgh Tribune, who has access to the police affidavit filed.

Apparently, this photo was sent to a common friend who took a screenshot and his mother contacted police, according to Radar Online. Also, according to the website, the boy also received text messages from the suspect saying: "Told you I cleaned up the shells" and "Ryan was not the last one."

According to the BBC, the boy does not just face charges of first-degree murder, he will also be charged with homicide and possession of a firearm by a minor.

The boy also confessed to killing Mr. Mangan after police found a 9-mm handgun hidden in his home, according to The Tribune-Review.
