'Teen Choice Awards' 2015 News: 'Teen Choice Awards' List of Awardees Include Nina Dobrev & More
The Teen Choice Awards aired on Sunday night, and the biggest stars in movie, music, TV and the Web world came together to honor teens around America by letting them choose their favorite movies, music and videos.
Hosted by Josh Peck, Gina Rodriguez, and Ludacris, the awards sprung a couple of surprises but, for the most part, the wins were expected.
In the music world, One Direction trumped other bands and performers by winning many of the awards, including the Choice Selfie Taker Award and the Choice Fashion: Male Hottie Award.
Another big winner on the night was Fifth Harmony who won the Choice Summer Song Award for "Worth It".They also received the Choice Fashion: Female Hottie Award.
On the small screen, Empire won the Choice TV Breakout Show Award and Nina Dobrev walked away with her final award for her role in The Vampire Diaries. The Choice TV: Drama award went to Pretty Little Liars.
In big screen categories, Furious 7 was voted the Choice Movie Action Award winner, with Paul Walker given the Choice Movie Actor: Action Award posthumously. Chloe Grace Moretz won Choice Movie Actress: Drama Award for If I Stay and Scott Eastwood was awarded Choice Movie Actor: Drama for The Longest Ride.
Bethany Mota won the Choice Web Female Star Award for her Macbarbie07 blogs and Cameron Dallas won the Choice Web Male Star Award for his app creation Vine. This is Dallas' second win for the category.
Performers included Little Mix, 5 Seconds of Summer, the Empire cast and presenters included Britney Spears and Fifth Harmony.
All in all, the ceremony was a good showcase of the best of 2015.
