A funny and awkward photo surfaced earlier today gaining serious online traffic. It was apparently singer Taylor Swift spotted hiking, but backwards. After the photo surfaced on social media, several of Swift's fans and others who are just plainly curious about why she was hiking backwards commented and have been asking the singer for an explanation.

Well there is an explanation already straight from Swift. Swift, who was seen hiking backwards and facing a man who seemed to be like a security guard on a hiking trail looked quite odd in the photo and fans were just boggled about in and asked Swift what is it all about on Tumblr saying, "Taylor wtf is happening here im confused," one fan wrote, while another said, "It's like she is doing that test that police officers do to see if you're drunk or not."

Meanwhile, after gaining so much online traffic, apparently Swift decided to answer the questions, explain what the photo is really all about and have the chance to connect with fans as she always does. Swift was apparently having quite a good mood today as she first posted a funny GIF of Kristen Wiig's character in the comedy flick Bridesmaids when she got pulled over in the movie and danced in front of the authorities trying to defend herself saying, "If I was drunk, would I be able to do this?"

Then, the singer continued making her fans laugh and posted the real explanation. "I saw the guy with the camera and wasn't in the mood so I hiked the whole trail backwards and my security told me when to make turns," she wrote on Tumblr adding, "Ah, the tranquility of the great outdoo-TAYLORCANYOULOOKOVERHEREGIVEUSASMILEAREYOUDATI."

Several fans of course got the joke and finally had a clear explanation about why Swift decided to hike backwards which was also quite impressive for her.
