Taylor Swift News: '1989' Singer Causes Delayed Flights After Landing at Airport in Japan
Recently, the presence of pop star Taylor Swift at an airport caused the delay of flights. The young songstress landed at Narita International Airport, near Chiba, Japan.
She will be performing in the country as a part of her 1989 world tour and there were so many fans there to greet her that there was a traffic jam of sorts at the airport's arrival hall.
Due to Swift's popularity, two flights coming into Narita International Airport were ultimately delayed, according to reports from TMZ.
A video of Swift, 25, arriving at the airport shows a large crowd of fans reaching out towards the singer and trying to touch her, as well as waving their smart phones and cameras above their heads.
The video shows Swift trying her best not to disappoint her loyal fans, by taking the time to hurriedly sign some autographs. This is despite the efforts of airport security to guide her away from the crowd.
The singer is known for being grateful and giving back to her fans, and she has even granted the wish of a dying fan recently, speaking to her for 20 minutes.
The name of the young lady was Jalene Salina, who was victim to an aggressive form of terminal brain cancer.
She has passed away since, but her dreams came true thanks to Swift, March of this year.
During the phone conversation, Swift spoke to Salina's mother, Jennifer Arriagas, telling her, "I got back from London and I heard about her and it is just unfathomable to have to watch your baby go through this."
On that note, Swift continues to reward her fans for their loyalty.
