Taylor Swift New Album 2014, Interview with Country Star Reveals from 2013 American Music Awards, Watch Here (VIDEO)

Taylor Swift has had a huge 2013 winning numerous awards for her latest album RED and taking her tour worldwide to massive success and sold-out arenas. 

Even though it seems like RED just released, Taylor Swift gave her fans a little tease that the songwriting process for her new album is actually running ahead of schedule. 

Billboard caught up with the 23-year old star backstage at the 2013 American Music Awards and she shared, "Yeah, we've got a lot. We got a lot already. There are probably seven or eight that I know I want on the record, so that's really ahead of schedule for me. I'm just stoked because it's already evolved into a new sound, and that's all I wanted. I would have taken two years to make that happen, but it kind of happened naturally." 

With no official release date in focus, this does not mean that a new album would release in 2014, but with her already having many of the songs written, it is a good chance that a new Taylor Swift album could release in mid to late 2014. 

She works like a machine going from recording to touring almost non-stop it seems like, we thought maybe she would take a break after finishing her world tour. It seems that if she has the new material ready though, she will go right into recording her next album.
