Taylor Swift in 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Rumors: Will the Singer Portray Dazzler in the Upcoming Movie?

Having taken the music industry as well as the Grammy world by storm, Taylor Swift now seems to be determined to win a few Oscars. If latest rumors are any indication, the "Bad Blood" singer is all set to join the 'X-Men: Apocalypse' cast.

According to a report in IB Times, earlier, Taylor Swift has been part of movies such as 'Valentine's Day' and 'The Giver,' and now it appears that the "Blankspace" singer is close to bagging a role of a lifetime. In fact, this is what one would make out from a photo that the 'X-Men: Apocalypse' producer Simon Kinberg posted on Twitter recently.

In fact, Kinberg shared a photo showing himself along with Swift, Sophie Turner (Jean Grey) and James McAvoy (Professor X, with head freshly shaved) via Twitter along with a caption, 'Haters gonna hate.'

While the photograph does not actually say anything regarding the singer actually joining the cast of the 'X-Men: Apocalypse', many are of the view this excitement may possibly be only owing to the fact that Taylor Swift is a huge fan of 'X-Men' movies.

As of now, there is neither any confirmation nor indication that Taylor Swift would be officially cast in the film; fans of the singer have already begun jumping to all kinds of conclusions. Many such fans think that the photo is a concrete proof of the fact that Tay will portray the character of Dazzler.

Meanwhile, Alison Blaire first appeared as the super heroine Dazzler in 'Uncanny X-Men #130' (February 1980). This character is a mutant possessing the aptitude to translate sound vibrations into light as well as energy beams. Originally, Dazzler commissioned to be a disco singer, but the character slowly moved to other musical genres.

Is this the reason why the singer's fans believe that Taylor will be a perfect choice for the role? Considering the fans' views, is it likely that Taylor will actually portraying the Dazzler in 'X-Men: Apocalypse'?

As of now, fans will either have to wait to hear it from either Simon Kinberg or Taylor Swift herself to confirm the casting rumor related to 'X-Men: Apocalypse,' which is slated for release on May 27, 2016.
